Removing grease stains using dish soap

You can remove grease stains from your clothes using liquid dish soap. Dish soap cuts off the grease and lifts the color. All you need is just liquid dish soap, an old toothbrush, and washing detergent. Follow the steps below to get oil out of clothes.

  1. Pour some dish soap on the grease stain and gently scrub it with the help of an old toothbrush. Dish soap cut through the grease stain and lift the color.
  2. Rub the stain until it removes. After this, rinse the stain in hot water.
  3. Now you can wash your garment with washing detergent in the washing machine.
  4. Dry clean as instructed on its care tag attached to it. 

Removing grease stains using baking soda  get grease out of clothes

Another method to remove grease stains from clothes is using baking soda. Baking soda absorbs the oil and may help to lift the color.

  1. Apply some baking soda on the grease stain and leave it for approximately 15 minutes to absorb the grease from the cloth.
  2. Pour a few drops of lemon juice on the baking soda and pour some washing detergent on it. Gently rub with the help of an old toothbrush.

Removing grease stains using baby powder get grease out of clothes

You can remove the grease stains using baby powder. Baby powder helps to absorb the oil from the cloth.

  1. Apply some baby powder on the grease stain and let it sit for 15 minutes to absorb grease.
  2. With the help of a toothbrush, gently scrub it.
  3. Rinse the stain with hot water, and the color still appears. Repeat steps 1 and 2 until the grease stain completely vanishes.
  4. Machine washes your garment with washing detergent.

Removing grease stain using salt and stain remover 

Stain remover and salt can be used to remove grease stains from the clothes. You need a stain remover, salt, and a small brush. 

  1. Pour some salt on the stain and gently scrub it with your fingers, and you can use an old toothbrush.
  2. Apply some stain remover on it and rub it with a brush until the stain disappears entirely.
  3. Rinse the stain under warm water. If the color is not removed and still appears, repeat the process.
  4. Machine washes your clothes using any washing detergent.
